Antique Machinery & Restoration Club

The Antique Machinery Restoration Society of Queensland, (AMRSQ) has its own museum situated in the Grounds of the Historical Village.  This museum houses a collection of old machinery and engines including a very large Crossley that is the only operational machine of its type in the world!

Run Your Machine Days

On the Second Sunday of every three months, the AMRSQ will hold a "Run Your Machine" Day. On those days club members will be bringing their historic machines to the village and have them operating for view by other club members and visitors to the village. The first "Run Your Machine" Day will be Sunday, March 11th, 2012, then every following three months. Therefore, for 2012, the operating exhibitions will be March 11th; June 10th; September 9th and December 9th. For more details contact the AMRSQ

In July each year the AMRSQ organises the "Heritage Fair" in the Historical Village grounds where the engines are fired up and members and collectors from around Queensland meet to show off their latest acquisitions and restorations.
