The Village has become a popular place for film crews to use as a backdrop for short films. We have about 30 historically significant buildings and 12 acres of grounds. By special arrangement with the Curator some items from the collection may be used as props.
Costing.
Filming is $400 per day. This is from 8am – 4pm each day. (Alternate hours will need to be negotiated)
Some buildings like the Hotel, Hall and Chapel may not be available due to previous bookings. Private Club buildings will not be hired. The Venue Hire Terms & Conditions Apply (See venue hire)
All fees must be paid prior to filming or no entrance will be permitted.
Overtime fee is $50 per hour.
The bond is $500. The bond will only be released if the Curator is satisfied with the state of the building/s at end of filming.
