Volunteering

The Caboolture Historical Village is a wonderful place to volunteer, meet people, learn new skills and keep active.  As one can imagine, it takes a great many hands to keep this very large Village open to the public seven days a week and your contribution is most welcome and appreciated.

Right now we’d like volunteers to help in many areas including the cafe’s, demonstrating, participating in re-enactments, in the Visitor Information Centre, in the office doing the booking and documentation for functions, weddings and school visit, and tour guides.  There are many places where your skills can be used!

We are about to expand our tour guide program with some exciting news to be announced shortly.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at the Caboolture Historical Village please phone us on (07) 5495 4581 or contact us by e-mail on vrc@historicalvillage.com.au

It has been through the collective efforts of many volunteers since that time that we now have the Historical Village as we know it. We have volunteers who work as reception staff on the front counter of the visitor information centre, others who work in the cafe and on various other catering tasks, administration, marketing, staff management, retail.  As well we have people who work on building maintenance, grounds maintenance, machinery maintenance, vehicle restoration, collection management, tour guides and volunteers who conduct activities and demonstrations for our school visitors.
