Caboolture Historical Village Potters Inc

The Caboolture Historical Village Potters Inc is a community pottery club with the goal of promoting pottery as a craft and hobby within the Caboolture region. As living heritage, the club offers visitors of the Caboolture Historical Village an opportunity to experience and learn about this rich craft for themselves. Drop in and meet local potters, admire handcrafted pottery, and purchase something special to take home from our pottery shop.

The club is not just a point of interest; pottery classes and/or membership are available to locals, offering them a chance to express their individual creativity. To many students and members, it is a way to step outside of the hustle and bustle; a place where they can just be, create and enjoy the moment.

Whether you are a day or regular visitor, our friendly members are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Our facilities include:

  • Six electric wheels (including one standing wheel)
  • Two electric kilns
  • A wall mounted extruder
  • Slab roller
  • Wedging table
  • A large range of plaster moulds
  • A variety of underglazes and glazes
  • A reference library
